Graduate Student Urgent Notice


If you are an international student and/or a student receiving a tuition scholarship, YOU MUST be properly registered by September 20th.  International students that are not registered full-time after this date will be out of status and risk having their I-20 terminated. 

Supported students that are not registered full-time after September 20th will lose their tuition scholarship AND will not be eligible for employment. 

If you are already properly registered, please disregard this message.
Supported and International Graduate students must make sure that they are registered full-time according to their G-Status as follows:

G1 (First year Masters student who will have completed less than twenty-four graduate credit hours regardless of where earned by the start of the semester) = 12 credits

G2 (Advanced Masters student who will have completed twenty-four or more graduate credits regardless of where earned by the start of the semester) = 9 credits

G3 (First year Doctoral student who will have completed less than twenty-four graduate credit hours regardless of where earned by the start of the semester) = 12 credits

G4 (Advanced Doctoral student who will have completed twenty-four or more graduate credits regardless of where earned by the start of the semester) = 9 credits

G5 (Advanced Doctoral student that has been advanced to candidacy for the doctoral degree by passing the preliminary examination by day 15 of the semester) = 9 credits
