Multiregression Data Set
Instruction:
Find the last four digits of your ID and click to download your own data.
The data set contains 11 variables and 500 observations. The first one is
simply the
observation ID. The second one is the replicate group ID. The first
244 groups
contain only one replicate and the 69 groups contain 4 replicates each.
You are supposed to use the replicates for testing goodness of fit. The
third to the eighth variables are independent variables. Of the last three
variables, one is a normally distributed random variable one is
t-distributed random variable and the other is the dependent variable of a
regression model. You are required to work on the last three variables.
You have to figure which one is normal distributed, which one is
t-distributed and which one is the dependent variable of the regression
mode and do regression analysis for that variable. The order of the last
three variables and the regression model in the following data sets are
not all alike. So, Don't be panic if your answer is different from
others.
