Sampling distribution; convergence concepts; classes of statistical models; sufficient statistics; likelihood principle; point estimation; Bayes estimators; consistency; large sample theory

ASSIGNMENTS
Given regularly. No late homework will be accepted. The lowest two homework scores will be dropped before computing your average.

TESTS
Exam I: Tuesday, October 5, in class
Exam II: Tuesday, November 9, in class
Final: Tuesday, December 14, 5:15 pm - 7:45 pm

GRADING
Homework (10%), midterms (25% + 25% = 50%) and final exam (40%)
