Statistics is my mainly focused field, thus I am now studying statistical inference(AMS572) and other related mathmatical courses(AMS507, AMS510). I have not joined any research group so far since this is my first semester at the AMS program. With the research experience on biological sciences, I may try to find a place in biostatistics in the near future. Also, it could be associated with operational research, especially stochastic model and applied programming.
