Special Notes for Linux (Intel), Mac, and DEC Alpha Machines

Users of these architectures should be aware of the different byte ordering for these machines. This effects the manner in which binary data is read and stored. As the input files for the test cases are binary in nature, care should be taken. In particular, the binary integer (bi) format specificed in Case1.X files should be replaced by swapped binary integer (sbi). All subsequent analysis should then be performed using the output files generated while testing Case1.X and not the files included in the distribution.
