The 3DMA package is organized into four main menus corresponding to the four steps in the following data processing flow

Thus each main menu is uniquely characterized by the type of input data (raw, segmented, erosion distance, or medial axis). Each main menu has a main submenu corresponding to the options available for processing that data type. The remainder of this manual is organized first according to the four main menus and secondly by the main submenu for each. This organization permeates our referencing to any major option in the package; we shall use the consistently use the phrase ``caseX.Y'', where `X' is the choice from the main menu, and `Y' is the choice from `X's main submenu. e.g. case4.12 refers to the submenu option (12) of obtaining statistics from the medial axis data (main menu choice 4).
