absences.
- Use of electronic devices (e.g. cell phones, calculators) is not allowed
during exams.
In grading your work, you will be judged on the written reasoning you
provide, not just on the final answer.
Homework Policy: Hand in at beginning of class on date due.
No late homework will be accepted, instead, the lowest 2 homework grades
will be dropped.
You may discuss homework problems with other students, with the TAs,
and with me.
However, the work that you turn in should always be your own write-up,
and should reflect your personal understanding of the answer.
Academic Integrity Each student must pursue his or her academic goals honestly and be personally accountable for all submitted work. Representing another person's work as your own is always wrong. Any suspected instance of academic dishonesty will be reported to the Academic Judiciary. For more comprehensive information on academic integrity, including categories of academic dishonesty, please refer to the adademic judiciary website at http://www.stonybrook.edu/uaa/academicjudiciary/.
Disability Notice: If you have a physical, psychological, medical or learning disability that may impact on your ability to carry out assigned course work, please contact Disability Support Services (DSS), Room 128 ECC Building, 632-6748. DDS will review your concerns and determine, with you, what accommodations are necessary and appropriate. All information and documentation of disability is confidential. Students who require assistance during emergency evacuation should discuss their needs with DSS. For emergency evacuation information and procedures, go to http://www.stonybrook.edu/ehs/fire/disabilities.shtml.
