AND PARALLEL MOLECULAR DYNAMICS


The parallel molecular dynamics technique capable of simulating
400,000,000 particles can model the process of fabricating
small features like trenches necessary for chip designs.
The upper right picture is a snapshot for a trench being deposited
with titanium. The lower one is a die photo of SUN Sparc chip consisting of
millions of such features.
