Yelena SholokhovaSince 1997 my first 3 years I studied in Moscow State Technological University "Stankin", Russia, on the department of Information Technologies, and in 2000 I transferred to State University of Stony Brook (SUNY) on the Department of Applied Mathematics and Statistics where I received my BS in 2002. My graduate study is continued here under the supervision of advisor W. Brent Lindquist.
My research interests are in the 3-D pore-scale modelling of sandstones, flow simulations in the pore network, in particular, Lattice-Boltzmann methods for fluid simulation, prediction of mesoscopic properties of porous medias, data mining and data analysis. Accepted:
Network Flow Modeling via Lattice-Boltzmann Based Channel Conductance to Advances in Water Resources, 2008.
