Exams: Two closed-book exams. One at midterm Nov3rd. One during finals week Dec.19.

  • December 5th, 2008, Friday class is cancelled. I have to travel to Albany to attend a meeting.
  • Makeup class on October 6th 2008, Monday from 11:30am to 12:40pm in AMS Seminar room Math 1-122A.
  • September 26th, 2008, Friday class is cancelled due to illness. I will make up the class on the day that will be convenient for all involved.

Grading: The final grade is based upon the following
  • Homework assignments 20%
  • Midterm ( November 3rd, 2008, Monday ): 40%
  • Final ( December 19th, 2008, Friday ) : 40%
