Quizzes: A quiz every other week on recent homework problems.
FIRST QUIZ IN SEPT. 8TH COVERS PREREQUISITE MATERIAL FOR THIS COURSE. COPIES
OF OLD PREREQUISITE QUIZZES ARE GIVEN BELOW. Quizzes count for 30% of course grade.
STUDENTS WHO DO NOT TAKE THE PREREQUISITE TEST WILL BE DE-REGISTERED FROM THE COURSE.
Tests: One 2 1/2-hour Final Exam. Final counts 40% of course grade
Homework: Weekly assignments generated and graded by computer and
done on the Web. You may try problems as many times as you want, until the stated deadline for the assignment. Each
student gets their own individualized version of each problem.
