It shows the propagation of the isosurfaces of u = 0.5. This time the 2d spiral wave pattern is stacked along y-axis so that the filament is directed along y-axis at t=0. The simulation were carried upto t=3.008 sec.

Since the filament is not aligned with the fibers initially, it is rotating and drifting up the layers toward the plane where dxx is minimum or the fiber is vertical. The behavior generally agrees to Omer's paper.

This shows a considerable difference. The fiber is rotating opposite way and there is no drifting up the layers. If this is the right beahviour, how can we explain this?
